All participants of WASG 2025 must follow the latest international ACES rules.
In order to fly model airplanes in Germany, a liability insures is mandatory for all participants. The coverage amount has to be at least 2 million Euro. The insurance has to be presented by the pilot with check-in. Please make sure that the provided documents are either in german or english. If you do not have an appropriate insurance, you will be able to obtain a short term insurance for the WASG 2025:
at the final registration, we need your insurance number
EASA Registration - UAS -Each participant must hold a valid EASA proof of registration and training for the open category by the EU Regulations 2019/947 and 2019/945. - If you can’t obtain this certificate by your national CAA you can get it from other authorities e.g. Austria https://dronespace.at/en
